The Flaming Lily Circus is thrilled to be part of the brand-new F.O.M.O Festival in Newcastle! Taking place on June 13th at The Blue Star Football Club, this fresh festival experience is brought to you by the team behind the legendary COLOSSEUM and Afterdark events—so expect something seriously special.
We’ll be bringing the spectacle with stunning stilt walking, high-impact fire and light shows, and the debut of our incredible new mirror costumes—guaranteed to turn heads and light up the night.
The lineup is packed with iconic acts including Bass Generator, QFX, Ultrabeat, Dream Frequency, and Mr C—bringing huge energy across multiple genres.
This is set to be one of Newcastle’s standout events of the summer—music, performance, and atmosphere all in one place. Don’t miss it!

Fun in the Park
July 29th
Fun in the Park is our summer holiday event series designed for children aged 3 to 8 years. Taking place across eight of our local parks, each session runs from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm and is packed with activities for young families to enjoy.
Welcome to our circus‑themed spectacular! Mr Twister will be entertaining in the marquee, and our talented circus performers will be running workshops where children can try out real circus skills. Enjoy two small fairground rides, the clown around inflatable, bungee trampolines, and plenty of giant bubble fun to top it all off.
Organised by Great Aycliffe Town Council, the events offer free entertainment for families throughout the day. Additional attractions such as side stalls, body art, food vans, and ice cream vans will also be available, with charges applying for these extras. Post Code DL5 5AG

BYKER TRUST COMMUNITY
August 8th
As part of a Byker Trust community project, I’ll be hosting a day of hands-on circus workshops and giant bubble magic, bringing a burst of colour, movement, and imagination into the heart of Byker.
This is all about creating shared experiences right where people live — giving the community a chance to step into something a little different, something they might not usually get to try or see without travelling elsewhere. From learning playful circus skills to watching enormous, shimmering bubbles drift through the air, it’s designed to spark curiosity, laughter, and a sense of connection.
It’s a simple idea with a big goal: to bring a bit of wonder into everyday spaces, and make sure those experiences are accessible to everyone in the community, right on their doorstep.

Lindisfarne festival

We’re beyond excited to be heading to Lindisfarne Festival at Beal Farm, Berwick-upon-Tweed!
Known as the place where music, magic, and mischief collide, this incredible coastal festival brings together stunning scenery, huge live acts, and an unbeatable atmosphere for a truly unforgettable weekend.
This year, we’ll be adding our own touch of wonder with a fully immersive walkabout light experience. Expect glowing characters roaming the festival, bringing circus props to life and creating magical moments around every corner. We’ll also be debuting our dazzling new mirror people costumes—catching the light, reflecting the energy, and turning heads wherever they go.

Mighty Dub Festival

Get ready for an unforgettable weekend at Mighty Dub Festival—a vibrant celebration of VW culture, music, and family fun! Alongside stunning vehicles and a brilliant dog show, we’ll be bringing the magic of the circus to life. Join us for hands-on circus workshops, including the chance to try aerial skills on our big rig—open to both kids and adventurous adults.
Throughout the day, enjoy dazzling bubble displays and our high-energy outdoor “circus rave,” packed with colour, music, and playful chaos. This year’s pirate theme means you’ll spot our crew roaming on stilts and on the ground in full swashbuckling style! As the sun sets, don’t miss our glowing evening party, featuring illuminated props and a magical atmosphere to round off the day.

Less stress fest

Get ready for Less Stress Fest—a rising underground gem where creativity, music, and culture collide. Set on West Benridge Farm, run by artists, this intimate festival brings together some of the North East’s most exciting talent, from bold graffiti art to cutting-edge DJs blending hip hop energy with rave culture.
This year, the festival levels up in a big way. What started as a low-key debut is quickly evolving into one of the most exciting grassroots events in the region—and 2026 is set to be its breakout year.
We’ll be there with the circus bus, bringing the heat all weekend long with stilt performances, fire shows, and immersive light displays. Expect a raw, creative atmosphere, packed with passion, talent, and serious energy from Newcastle’s vibrant creative scene.

Party in the park
August 28th-30th
Get ready for an electrifying weekend at Party in the Park Morpeth—a high-energy festival blending iconic tribute acts with a huge dose of old-school rave spirit. While the main stage brings legendary sounds to life, the real pulse of the weekend runs through the dance arena, featuring massive names like Dream Frequency and sets inspired by Fatboy Slim, alongside a lineup of DJs delivering everything from Ibiza anthems to hard-hitting club classics. It’s a full-on throwback to the golden era of rave, packed with beats, energy, and hands-in-the-air moments.
We’ll be there all weekend bringing the festival to life with immersive circus entertainment—expect interactive workshops, high-impact shows, stilt walking characters, and a mix of fire and light performances to keep the atmosphere buzzing day and night. Wherever you wander, we’ll be adding that extra spark to make the whole experience feel bigger, brighter, and unmistakably festival
Dunfermline Children's Gala

Get ready for a supercharged day at the Dumfermline Children’s Gala Parade in Scotland, where this year’s theme brings together the worlds of superheroes and sci-fi! Expect a colourful parade packed with imagination, larger-than-life characters, and plenty of community spirit.
We’ll be joining the action with stilt walking fun—featuring an exciting duo performance as I take to the streets on stilts alongside my son Flint, who’ll be showcasing his skills on four-legged stilts at just 10 years old! With costumes still to be revealed, expect something bold, creative, and perfectly in keeping with the heroic, out-of-this-world theme.
It’s set to be a fantastic, family-friendly celebration full of energy, creativity, and a touch of the extraordinary.

The Rising Sun Park

We’re excited to be part of the annual summer event at Rising Sun Country Park! Join us for a fun-filled day where we’ll run interactive circus workshops, give you the chance to try out new skills, and create magical bubble displays that everyone can enjoy. It’s the perfect opportunity for families, friends, and visitors of all ages to get involved, have a laugh, and soak up the summer atmosphere.
Rising Sun Country Park is a beautiful 400 acre escape, offering a rich mix of landscapes to explore and enjoy. From peaceful woodland and tranquil ponds to open grassland, wetlands, and vibrant wildflower meadows, it is a space where nature truly comes to life.
